NCDS to introduce New Release of ESP-Link(TM) FTS 6.0 to Anguilla

National Commercial Data Services Ltd is proud to announce their involvement with the ESP-Link™ Suite FTS 6.0 (FTS 6.0), after being introduced to the product by Bevertec CST Inc., the company felt it would be beneficial to introduce it in their local market.

 

The FTS 6.0 was released by Bevertec in January 2014, and has since had a great response to the phenomenal growth of electronic delivery channels that has challenged companies to adapt quickly to an ever-changing business environment. In Anguilla, NCDS, has already captured the support from the hospitality sector, with emerged with a contract being signed by the recently opened La Vue Bed & Breakfast Hotel in Back Street, South Hill.

 

Built with security in mind, the PA-DSS certified FTS 6.0 enables the e -client processing of transactions from any delivery channel and delivers them securely and seamlessly to any destination — retail banking systems, card processing centers, stock exchanges, or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) trading partners. FTS makes it convenient and easy to use m-commerce along with e-commerce systems and gives customers continuous access to funds and information.

 

This is done through the Group's flagship ESP-Link™ Suite, which shares a common infrastructure providing high performance, guaranteed interoperability, scalability and a modular roadmap to support growth.

The Graphical User Interface (GUI) was re-designed and the product core routines were improved to satisfy the PA-DSS security requirements:


STREAMLINED CONFIGURATION PROCESS

FTS 6.0 is now easier than ever to configure and administer. The GUI was completely redesigned in FTS 6.0 to be compliant with all the PA-DSS security requirements. All the configuration functions are in real-time, regrouped and reorganized under a single top-level menu. No specialized knowledge of database tables is required. The results are vastly improved workflow, elimination of configuration errors and much improved operational efficiency.


SECURITY FEATURES

FTS 6.0 provides enhanced application security access based on PA-DSS requirements. Using the role-based security mechanisms, access to key FTS 6.0 functions can be linked to operational responsibilities to the assigned role of the individual. All system actions initiated through the user interface as well as all system events are logged in audit logs and in a centralized login system. These secure log files can only be reviewed and managed by authorized FTS 6.0 users.


NEW MESSAGE QUEUE MANAGER

FTS 6.0 contains features and functions for the automatic monitoring; detection and repair of message queue incidents. There is also a monitoring process for the switch that performs automatic instantiation and resource recovery based on loading of parameters.


CERTIFIED FOR FULL EMV ACQUIRING

FTS 6.0 is EMV transaction processing ready. The internal message structure of the Transaction Management Engine supports all of the extensions required to manage the additional EMV data elements.


  • New Graphical Interface to manage switch operations and monitor the external links connected to the switch - A new Graphical User Interface, with improved functionalities to ease the management and monitoring of FTS 6.0.

  • A common monitoring tool can be used in a clustered FTS 6.0 solution.

  • High Availability Ready - FTS 6.0 is ready to be architectured as High Availability solution including fault tolerant and load balancing features.

  • Transparent database encryption support - FTS 6.0 is able to use Transparent Database Encryption, so all customer information is protected.

  • Centralized Logging - FTS 6.0 logging system was improved to generate centralized logging so this information is available now to be used locally or externally by third party Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
